Who is Kumail Kazmi?
Kumail Kazmi is a Pakistani young entrepreneur, software developer, and tech innovator. He is best known as the founder and CEO of Smadent.

Born on July 12, 2002, in the quaint village of Kot Phulley Shah, nestled in the heart of Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Pakistan, I embarked on a path less travelled, driven by a relentless passion for technology and innovation.
A Different Kind of Education
My educational journey took an unconventional route. At the same time, my formal education journey led me to complete my Matriculation in Computer Science at Govt. High School Pahrianwali. My true learning began when I delved into the world of technology, web design, app development, and digital marketing.
I’m a firm believer in the power of self-learning, and my early experiences were a testament to that. Fueled by a burning curiosity, I sought knowledge from various sources, both online and through local and online institutes. It was during these formative years that my passion for computers and business began to take shape.
Empowering Change Through Technology
One pivotal moment came when I sought to check my 9th-grade results online. To my surprise, the experience was far from user-friendly. The existing websites seemed cluttered with ads, lacking in accessibility, and not designed with students’ best interests at heart. This frustration led to a question that sparked a new beginning: “How can I simplify this process for students across Pakistan?”
In the wake of that question, I founded Smadent, where “Smart” met “Student.” This platform was my response to the need for a user-centric, ad-free, and accessible solution for students to access their results. It was a moment of revelation, where an idea on that very day transformed into a mission to empower students across the country.
Recognitions and Milestones
Smadent, the brainchild of this journey, garnered acclaim as the “Best Educational Website of Pakistan” from Acquisition International. It has also received the prestigious “Best Modern Educational Curriculum Platform—Pakistan” award from MEA Markets (UAE Business Awards 2020) for its transformative contributions to the education sector.
In 2021, I had the honour of receiving the “Most Talented Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award from the esteemed Nusrat Foundation, a recognition that serves as a testament to the dedication and vision of Smadent.

As the founder & CEO of Smadent, I’m on a mission to redefine education, bridging the gap between students, teachers, and institutes. But this journey is far from over. My vision extends beyond borders, with plans to make Smadent the leading educational platform worldwide.
